Mercuria Bloom is a fictional, fantastical character. My art persona. This stage name allows me to play with my fantasies and exaggerations of the self. This series uses found unedited images of rooms of Italian seaside houses, with me floating in these interior spaces alongside a figure of Mary. Being from Italy, this work is a nostalgic and reflective exercise on childhood and treasured interiors I am familiar with.
